Reflections

Encourage creativity and lifelong learning while offering recognition for artistic endeavors. The PTA Reflections Program is designed to enhance quality arts education for students in preschool through grade 12.

2020-2021 Reflections Coming Soon...

Each fall, Ephesus PTA sponsors voluntary participation in an arts program that gives students the opportunity to express themselves artistically based on a common theme. Students can create original works in any of six arts areas: visual arts, photography, literature, dance choreography, film production, or musical composition. Each entry should be a new work of art, inspired by the year's theme and created expressly for this program. Completed works of art should be left in the Reflections box in the Atrium. Each artwork must be accompanied by the Student Entry Form, which can be printed from the link provided or visit the art teacher, Hannah Murphy.

All students will be recognized for their participation, and will have their work displayed at the FRANK Gallery 201 S Estes Dr B6, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. In addition, entries will be judged at school against others in the same age-group, and award-winning entries will advance to the next level of judging at the district, state and national level.

Detailed rules for each arts category can be found on the NC PTA's Reflections web site.
