About Ephesus Elementary PTA Volunteering
The EES PTA cannot do the critical work to support our school community without our volunteers. There are several opportunities with various commitment levels open. If you have a different idea, please note it below.
It's also OK if you don't have a specific interest but want to be available to help! We will reach out if we have a volunteer need and if it is the right fit for you, we cannot wait to have you join us!
Grade Level Ambassador
Please review the following carefully and indicate which you would be interested in joining. Our committees meet when it’s convenient for the group, and decide that together. We appreciate your time, and want you to know that you are a valuable resource for the staff, students and families in any capacity! This may look like becoming a chair of a committee or just signing up for 1 hour at a community event. If you are on a committee, you are not required to be in attendance at every event.
WELCOME COMMITTEE: This committee would help plan and lead back to school events and welcome new families throughout the year. (Approximately 10 hours commitment)
STAFF/TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE: This committee helps to set up and break down teacher/staff appreciation meals that occur monthly. (Approximately 1 hour/per event commitment). You do not need to commit to more than one.
FUNDRAISING: This committee will lead the critical Fund It Fast, our annual giving drive that funds our entire year. The committee may also plan some additional events that raise funds. (up to 15 hours committment)
COMMUNITY EVENTS: The committee is in charge of the big community events and small too..come plan the JOY with us. (commitment varies on whether you are planning or day of volunteering)

EQUITY COMMITTEE: This committee will lead the PTA's equity initiatives and programming. This group meets monthly with some work between meetings. (1 hour per month)
GRADE LEVEL AMBASSADOR: Become your child's grade level ambassador. (1 hour per month commitment) Your role will be to:
